Come With Open Arms has two wings.
A Place to Call Home
This will help couples or single individuals over 60 in need of rental housing and utilities that are affordable. We will build small energy efficient rental duplexes around a shared outdoor area to be used for community interaction. Each unit would be 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, either 576 or 768 square feet. Floor plans and community layouts are under the “Ministries” tab. Assets needed include but are not limited to land and monetary donations, etc. Skills needed would include constructing and landscaping the units and outdoor areas. Recipients would pay an affordable rent and be responsible for their own utility bills. Criteria to qualify for a home can be found on the application under the “Ministries” tab.
A Ride to Work
This will provide “road ready” vehicles to applicants who are able to show us a plan to start their own business or are currently working a minimum number of hours a week. Recipients would pay an affordable price and be responsible for their own insurance. Criteria to qualify for a vehicle can be found on the application under the “Ministries” tab.

Current Needs
We need you! CWOA counts on donations to run both A Ride To Work and A Place To Call Home. You can greatly impact a life by giving anything you can, big or small. Below is a list of our current needs, which includes land for the A Place To Call Home duplexes, vehicles for those in need with A Ride To Work and various fees we pay to keep both wings running.
