Provision

  • For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. (Hebrew 3:4)
  • He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. (Luke 3:11)
  • But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? (1 John 3:17)
  • Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns,

and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?  (Matthew 6:26)

  • This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him. (1 John 5:14)
  • And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

(PH 4:19)

Hope

  • For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,

plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Strength

  • I can do all things through him who strengthens me.  (Philippians 4:13)
  • Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6)
  • God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.   (Psalm 46:1-3)

Peace

  • do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:6-7)

Renewing Your Mind

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5-6)
